FAQ'S

When Can I Arrive?


Gates open at 16.00 on Thursday 20th to give everyone time to arrive and settle in ready for a jam-packed day on Friday. There will be an opening ceremony, story tellings, good  food, a fireside Jam session and a film screening on Thursday evening.

Can I Bring my dog? 

Sadly we can not allow four legged friends, even though we would like to. This is a venue requirement as Abbey Home Farm is a working farm.

Do I need a vehicle pass?

Can I bring booze?

 Whilst of course you can bring a little with you, Any money made on the bar will go towards ensuring the event can happen in future years! We have a wonderful team from Old Tree Brewery supplying all you can drink at a very fair/affordable price. Please support the Landworkers Arms!

Does my ticket include camping?

Yes! If you have booked one of our weekend ticket options, this includes a space for you to pitch a tent in our beautiful camping field for the weekend

When do gates close? 

Gates close at 22:00 each night. 
This is a hard close and we will not have staff to let you in after this time

YES! 

NO CAR PASS, NO CAR ENTRY!

 

If you would like to travel by car you will need to purchase a vehicle passing addition to your weekend ticket. 

Due to site requirements and to reduce our carbon footprint,  there are a very limited number of car park tickets. You have to have a car park pass or live-in vehicle pass to enter the car park. You can buy a car pass here. 

 

As there are a limited number of car park tickets, we strongly advise filling your car with friends. Alternatively we have this lift share spreadsheet.

Can I bring my camper van?

Yes, but you will need to purchase a live in vehicle pass in addition to your weekend ticket. Only tent camping is included in your weekend ticket price. There are limited live in vehicle passes available. 

 Can I come if I am under 18? 

Will there be food? 

Food is at the heart of what we do - to keep growing the movement for a fair and sustainable food system, we must keep food at the centre of our lives and our kitchens at the heart of our homes and communities! You can expect a range of scrummy local organic produce cooked up by a bunch of wonderful traders. 

Can I bring my child? 

YES! Children come free but you will need to book a free ticket to reserve a space. We will have a children's area packed full of fun for all the family. Keep an eye on our socials for updates 

We have various tickets available for children and teenagers. However You will not be allowed onto site without a legal guardian. 

 

ALL UNDER 18'S MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A GUARDIAN WHO IS OVER 21 YEARS OLD. 


Will there be showers?

There will  showers available a 10 minute walk from the camping field and live in camping area.

When will the programme be announced? 

Keep an eye on our socials for updates on our programme. The full schedule will be uploaded to the website  and sent our via email the week of the event

TRAVEL 

Abbey Home Farm, Burford Road, Cirencester GL7 5HF

** IMPORTANT UPDATE **

 

To help with the Train Strike, we have changed the pick up location for our coaches on Thursday 20th.

 

The coaches are leaving at the same times (4pm, 5pm & 6pm) from THE FORUM CAR PARK in Cirencester, GL7 1FN.

 

We are still running shuttle buses to the festival from Kemble train station on Friday the 21st and return shuttles leaving the festival on Sunday 23rd and Monday 24th. Please check the website for these times. These will all be £5 per trip.

By Car 

The festival is just outside Cirencester and will be accessible along Burford Road, the B4425. The car park entrance will be clearly marked with a sign.

By Train 

We listened to your feedback and have tailored the coaches to fit around the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. We are also hiring much bigger coaches this year so please make use of them! They will be £5 per trip. 

Shuttle Buses from Train Station:

 

Pick up times for 20th: 4pm, 5pm & 6pm at Kemble Train station

 

Pick up times for 21st: 10am, 11am & 12am at Kemble Train station

 

Pick up times for 23rd: 6pm, 7pm & 8pm at Abbey Home Farm

 

Pick up times for 24th: 9am, 10am & 11am at Abbey Home Farm

 

Be aware that if you miss the last bus, we cannot offer alternative arrangements: you’ll have to get a taxi.

Vehicle Passes

Due to site requirements and to reduce our carbon footprint, the amount of vehicles allowed on site will be extremely limited.

 

Vehicle passes and live in vehicle passes will be necessary: you can buy these in the ticket section on the website.

 

We encourage you to car share as much as possible and make use of public transport. 

You will need to book a pass for your vehicle or arrange another way of getting to the event.


ACCOMMODATION

4 nights camping is included in the ticket cost for all weekend tickets. The campsite is beautiful with plenty of space and a stunning view, just a short walk from the main arena and farm shop. There will be toilets within the main campsite as well as the main arena and showers located near the main farm shop.

A magical spot at the waters edge, in it's own private woodland. Right off the beaten track and just a walk away from the festival site. 

Suitable for: One or two people looking for absolute seclusion, peace and quiet. Retreat or romance

Cosy traditional 12ft Bentwood Yurt 

 

 

 

 

Suitable for:  2 people If you're after a bit of luxury, or can easily sleep a few more at a squeeze! 

- Comes with a double bed and mattress (100% cotton bedding and blankets available too (if needed), side table, handmade wooden stool, solar fairy lights, coir matting and a lockable door.

- There is also  clear crown cover so you can gaze at the summer night sky!

 

A Rustic Yurts in the Yurt Eco village:

Nestled into the side of the wood with lush views across rolling Cotswold farmland. Woods to explore and open field to run in.

Suitable for: 

Extended families, groups of friends,  families. This is a REAL eco camp, not glamping. But for those that want a weekend amongst the trees without having to put your own tent up, you can't get much better. Each Yurt Sleeps 4 people or 5 at a squeeze! 

Whats inside: 

Very simple carpeted interiors, not furnished
- Slimline mattresses
- One yurt has a woodburner, perfect for gathering in if the weather turns

Whats outside: A covered outdoor kitchen with gas hobs and cold water sink. All water is from the farm bore hole, safe and delicious to drink
- Fireplace equipped for cooking with log seats all around
- Some wood for the fire
- All basic pots, pans, crockery and cooking utensils
- Private compost loos
- Eco shower hut (heat your own water on the 50 litre wood fired water heater)

The Mead Hut 

 A rustic off grid hut, built from recycled materials, in a sunny spot on the edge of a small wood. Well off the beaten track.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Suitable for: Up to two adults looking for a simple roof over their heads in a magical private spot. Basic, in a good way

Choose a Bare Bell, Simple Bell & Beds or Complete Snoozing Bell to enjoy for the whole festival.

Your Bell tent will be pitched and ready for you to move into from 4pm.

Suitable for: 

Can sleep up to four or six people depending on the size you book and all (excl. the bare bell) include sleeping accommodation for up to two people in double or single beds in the base price, for additional beds, additional charges will be made.
